Isabel was born in Melbourne Australia. Her father is Australian and her mother is Swiss. Her family has lived in the Swiss, in Melbourne Jabiru (a tiny mining community located in the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and in Jabiru, Switzerland. Together with the help of her younger sister Nina they attended schools with kids of all races and different cultures. Isabel resides in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel has been a part of drama since her school days. She continued to study acting at the Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology and also lately, she studied the PEM method Perdekamp The Emotional Method. Her agent in 2002 found out that she'd not performed in a stage production before. She auditioned to be a character of Home and Away 1988. Although they didn't feel she was the right role for her however, the producers were still impressed with her and decided to offer Tasha another role.
